What an exciting day!!!!!

Hunting season is definitely underway & I LOVE IT..... my husband killed his first deer Saturday. This means meat in the freezer. So today we pulled out our meat grinder and processed our meat. We normally do burger since it can be used for just about anything. This is our loin steaks, we got 6 steaks, 2 in each bag totaling 4 lbs 1.5 oz This is our burger, we got 13 lbs & 7 oz This meat in the store (not on sale) would have probably cost us around $62.... SEE why I'm excited :-) Another excitement is I received a magazine i just started subscribing to & I got 2 additional gifts. I also got this in the mail too, LOVE Kroger recipes & coupons..... And finally, last thing I got today. When i was young growing up my mom always had this cool nativity set. It was actually a set that she made out of a mold. We she had gotten rid of it :-( Ive always wanted this. Well the other night i was browsing around on ebay and just thought i would look this up and you would not believe it, I FOUND IT... (It come with a mold for the stable, the 3 kings, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus in a manger, a camel, a donkey, a lamb & an Angel) This mold is a mold from 1974 and i am super excited to make and paint these.

Busy busy...

This past week we have been a little under the weather, we missed churched on Sunday and Wednesday, I though Lucas was gettign sick untill i took him to the Dr and he said everything looks great (he just has a cough) Dr says its from the weather change and since his ears, throat & lungs all look good just to give him a little honey to soothe that cough. A few weeks ago i bought Lucas some new army men and this is how he plays with them. We also made a babyshower cake.... I made the Duggar Liquid Laundry Detergent. My friend Cristal posted about it on her blog and i thought why not try it. (my mom is getting one of the 5 gallons & the other is ours) And as i am cleaning the house this morning Lucas come running into me with Joshs straw hat on, He was super cute.
