Sorry had to post this. Sitting here looking at the weather channel. Well it's raining outside right now. As i look at the forecast and browse the page down to the bottom. Someone in Louisville just tweeted about the rain. "The rain makes me feel like God is wiping the slate of sins clean"

crazy fun real good day

Well today Josh was off work and we decided to head out for a while after he got back from hunting this morning. We went and enjoyed lunch together. Mexican, yummy... but then my plans changed. I like to make plans, have it all out where i know what I'm doing and whats going on. I planned to go to Shane Co, Lifeway, Sprint Store, Bass Pro Shop and Way-FM radio station. Well me not thinking ahead, to was Labor Day, everyone was off. So i didn't make it to Shane Co or Way-FM & since Way-FM was closed i didn't make it to Bass Pro Shop. Sprint didn't help me with what i needed & as we browsed Lifeway, they were out of the book i wanted... :-( Just not my day. BUT i did get to spend it with Josh & Lucas, which was wonderful and would never have it any other way. We did find some other things at Lifeway today though. Lucas got a Veggie Tale movie & book. Josh got a new small bible to take and put in his tool chest at work & carry it around. (Which looks really cool) I got me a new book/bible study.

I am currently reading a bible study with a small group of women called So Long Insecurity By Beth Moore. I am loving it, its amazing how many things in our life are actually insecurities. This group of women is an awesome group to be studying this with. I look forward to this night every week we get together. I missed this last weeks meeting to go out of town with my husband and son. But the chapters from this week really hit home. CH 7 Don't Let it Fool You, well just as the first sentence says It will make a fool of you. and i know Ive been there done that. Trying to work on it now. So i decided after browsing Lifeway and kept coming back to this book, to just buy it. God's Priorities for Today's Woman (Discovering his plan for you) By Lisa Hughes. I don't know about you but I want to know what God's priorities for my life is. I'm hoping these two studies will go hand in hand and help me grow better as a christian woman.

My Anniversary Gift: The Creation Museum

Well today is mine & Josh's 6 year anniversary (7 yrs total together) But yesterday Friday Josh took me and Lucas to the Creation Museum. I have always wanted to go here since it opened back in 2007. Before I go on, I recommend that everyone go to this museum. It will help you understand alot more things clearer, even if you are a Christian. We will defiantly go back again, especially as Lucas gets older and is able to understand this stuff. Its so hard to imagine that in 3 years Lucas will be going to school and being taught evolution (NOT the TRUTH) or that even we as kids learned that & believed it. I want Lucas to know right from wrong. We left the house today and had cracker barrel, Lucas ate some yummy pancakes and Josh had to take him to the bathroom and clean him up, he was that sticky. Only reason i mentioned eating out is cause Josh normally works all week and we never get a day out with daddy. It was awesome. So now we headed to Petersburg, KY where the Creation Museum is located. Josh loved it cause it was out in the middle of nowhere (he don't like big city life) As we entered and got our tickets, we decided we would go to the planetarium before walking through the museum. Today's showing was The Created Cosmos. Absolutely awesome, the entire time Lucas would be like oooHHH STARS, lol, just the cutest little thing & even be amazed with the stars and sky at age 2. Then we started our tour. I will post lots of pictures, but you NEED to see this in person. This is Lucas's 1st reaction when he saw the dinosaurs
